This website was put together to be a resource for anyone seeking information about Live-In Addiction Treatment Centres in Alberta.
Treatment Centres play an important role in the recovery from addiction, but it is often difficult to find information about centres in your area. There has never been a comprehensive listing of all centres in Alberta to reference. Yvonne Olivier and Trevor Berard saw a need to create such a resource following the 2018 Alberta Live-In Treatment Centres Symposium in Edmonton. Information was provided directly from the attendees of the symposium where available, and centers that were not able to attend were contacted to provide their information to this directory.
In 2021, Avatar Wellness Consulting took up custodianship of the continued upkeep and maintenance of this resource.
Because this is a primarily volunteer upkept resource, there may be outdated information in some of the entries. We ask that if you notice anything that needs to be changed, please let us know so that we can keep the directory as accurate as possible.
Sealish Digital Media Production was contracted to create the website and implement all changes and additions/removals from the directory.
